L&#8217;appareil a obtenu&nbsp;sa classification&nbsp;en cat\u00e9gorie&nbsp;Experimental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cet avion est l&#8217;aboutissement d&#8217;un projet partag\u00e9 par kevin Krakauer, Chad et Tyler Sanders lors de leur &#8220;Aerospace engineering degrees&#8221; \u00e0 l&#8217;universit\u00e9 de San Jose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les r\u00e9acteurs sont install\u00e9s c\u00f4te \u00e0 c\u00f4te sur un pyl\u00f4ne qui se r\u00e9tracte lat\u00e9ralement sur le cot\u00e9 droit du fuselage. Le dispositif de r\u00e9tractation est enti\u00e8rement m\u00e9canique. Il ne n\u00e9cessite que le d\u00e9placement d&#8217;un levier, situ\u00e9 sur la paroi gauche du poste de pilotage , pour la porte du compartiment moteur et faire pivoter l&#8217;ensemble moteur dans (en dehors du fuselage) et fermer la porte.
