Equip\u00e9 d&#8217;un r\u00e9acteur <a href=\"https:\/\/minijets.org\/en\/300-500\/turbomeca-marbore\/\">Turbomeca Marbor\u00e9 II<\/a> de 400 kgp, il a effectu\u00e9 son premier vol le\u00a0<strong>4 janvier 1953<\/strong>. Les premi\u00e8res \u00e9tudes ont port\u00e9es sur l&#8217;installation de 2 r\u00e9acteurs Turbom\u00e9ca Palas. Ceux-ci devaient \u00eatre positionn\u00e9s dans le fuselage, juste derri\u00e8re le si\u00e8ge du pilote, avec des entr\u00e9es \u00e9mergeant \u00e0 l&#8217;emplanture des ailes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce montage fut finalement abandonn\u00e9 par Stefanutti qui lui pr\u00e9f\u00e9ra le nouveau&nbsp;<strong>Marbor\u00e9 II<\/strong>&nbsp;(donnant \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9poque 380 Kg) de pouss\u00e9e. L&#8217;avion a conserv\u00e9 l&#8217;aile est les empennages en fl\u00e8che \u00e0 45\u00b0 du Freccia. Il &nbsp;est aliment\u00e9 par une entr\u00e9e d&#8217;air frontale. La tuy\u00e8re d&#8217;\u00e9jections d\u00e9bouche sous le fuselage en arri\u00e8re du bord de fuite de l&#8217;aile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"le-train-d-atterrissage\">Le train d&#8217;atterrissage<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;un train classique, o\u00f9 le train principal, comme la roulette de queue sont enti\u00e8rement escamotables. Mais elle \u00e9tait rest\u00e9e une petite compagnie. Aussi, lorsqu&#8217;elle se lan\u00e7a dans la r\u00e9alisation d&#8217;un avion l\u00e9ger \u00e0 r\u00e9action devant avoir des capacit\u00e9s supersoniques, il fut d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de proc\u00e9der par \u00e9tape et de laisser une grande place \u00e0 l&#8217;exp\u00e9rimentation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un avion supersonique n\u00e9cessitant une aile en fl\u00e8che, l&#8217;ing\u00e9nieur&nbsp;<strong>St\u00e9fanutti<\/strong>&nbsp;proposa de cr\u00e9er un d\u00e9monstrateur bas\u00e9 sur le&nbsp;<strong>S.7<\/strong>&nbsp;de la marque. C&#8217;est ainsi qu&#8217;une cellule de biplace Ambrosini S.7 fut \u00e9quip\u00e9e d&#8217;une aile en fl\u00e8che \u00e0 45\u00b0.
