C\u2019est dans ce contexte industriel qu\u2019il a acquis des comp\u00e9tences pr\u00e9cieuses en m\u00e9canique a\u00e9ronautique. Sa passion pour le vol s\u2019est ensuite affirm\u00e9e apr\u00e8s un bapt\u00eame de l\u2019air offert par sa famille dans la r\u00e9gion de Cannes. Profond\u00e9ment marqu\u00e9 par cette exp\u00e9rience, il d\u00e9cide d\u2019apprendre \u00e0 piloter, s\u2019entra\u00eenant sur l\u2019a\u00e9rodrome de Toulouse Labordes, alors qu\u2019il avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 30 ans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un constructeur Talentueux<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Une fois devenu pilote, L\u00e9o s\u2019est lanc\u00e9 dans la construction de ses propres avions. Sa premi\u00e8re r\u00e9alisation, un <strong>Druine Turbulent<\/strong>, fut couronn\u00e9e de succ\u00e8s en recevant une r\u00e9compense du minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Air. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce premier succ\u00e8s en construction a\u00e9ronautique a \u00e9t\u00e9 suivi de nombreux autres projets, incluant la construction de l&#8217;<strong>Emeraude<\/strong> et la remise en \u00e9tat de mod\u00e8les embl\u00e9matiques, notamment le <strong>Fieseler Storch<\/strong>. Avant de cr\u00e9er sa propre entreprise, L\u00e9o travailla \u00e9galement comme m\u00e9canicien \u00e0 l\u2019a\u00e9roclub du Languedoc, bas\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019a\u00e9rodrome de Labordes, un lieu o\u00f9 il continua \u00e0 perfectionner ses comp\u00e9tences dans la maintenance et l\u2019assemblage d\u2019appareils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Le MicroStar<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/minijets.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Microstar-de-Leo-Chagnes.webp\" alt=\"Microstar de Leo Chagnes\" class=\"wp-image-9972\" srcset=\"https:\/\/minijets.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Microstar-de-Leo-Chagnes.webp 800w, https:\/\/minijets.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Microstar-de-Leo-Chagnes-16x12.webp 16w, https:\/\/minijets.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Microstar-de-Leo-Chagnes-300x225.webp 300w, https:\/\/minijets.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Microstar-de-Leo-Chagnes-768x576.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Microstar de Leo Chagnes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>En <strong>1976<\/strong>, avec l\u2019encouragement de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Microturbo et en s\u2019appuyant sur les plans du <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rutan_VariViggen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rutan VariViggen<\/a><\/strong>, L\u00e9o entreprend la construction d\u2019un mod\u00e8le innovant, le <a href=\"https:\/\/minijets.org\/en\/100-150\/microturbo-trs-18-046\/microstar-variviggen-jet\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"2444\">MicroStar<\/a>. Ce projet ambitieux s\u2019\u00e9tendit sur quatre ann\u00e9es, mettant \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve son savoir-faire et sa pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Parmi ses derni\u00e8res contributions au monde de l\u2019aviation, on compte une reproduction du l\u00e9gendaire Breguet XIV, un projet qui aboutira en 2003 lorsque l\u2019appareil reprit son envol.
