Il est propuls\u00e9 par 2 turbor\u00e9acteur <a href=\"https:\/\/minijets.org\/0-100\/amt-usa\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"889\">AMT-USA AT-450<\/a>, qui produisent environ 20 kgp de pouss\u00e9e chacunes. Les premi\u00e8res pr\u00e9sentation en meeting remontent \u00e0&nbsp;<strong>2004<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<p>La cellule est celle d&#8217;un Silent de chez Alisport (ici \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&#8217;une aile de 12 m. d&#8217;envergure), qui d&#8217;origine est propuls\u00e9 par un moteur 2 temps Koening de 28 CV \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&#8217;une h\u00e9lice mono-pale. Le poids \u00e0 vide, avec les turbines, est de 194 Kg. La capacit\u00e9 d&#8217;emport de carburant est de 42 litres, ce qui est suffisant pour 30 minutes d&#8217;\u00e9volution \u00e0 pleine puissance, et permet d&#8217;envisager 1 heure en croisi\u00e8re \u00e0 100 knts (\u00e0 10,000 ft).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le taux de mont\u00e9e est d&#8217;au moins 500 ft\/min \u00e0 70 knts (STP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le vol propuls\u00e9 le plus long que Bob ait effectu\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 de 52 minutes. A cette occasion, il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 largu\u00e9 \u00e0 6200 pieds vertical terrain, puis avait pris 2000 pieds suppl\u00e9mentaires \u00e0 la vitesse de 100 n\u0153uds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La masse au d\u00e9collage habituelle avec Bob, le plein carburant et les syst\u00e8mes pyrotechniques fix\u00e9s sur les saumons d&#8217;ailes (qu&#8217;il utilise pour ses meetings) est d&#8217;environ 320 Kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chaque turbine p\u00e8se 2,5 Kg, et le pyl\u00f4ne qui les supporte est enti\u00e8rement r\u00e9tractable. Toutes les op\u00e9rations moteur (d\u00e9marrage, arr\u00eat, ventilation), sont g\u00e9r\u00e9e par ordinateur (ECU). He has since logged over 2000 hours in a wide variety of aircraft and holds a commercial pilot certificate. Bob has flown hang gliders, airplanes, helicopters, and sailplanes from hundreds of sites in the US, Canada, Mexico and Australia. Bob has flown airshows professionally since 1993. He lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is a member of SSA and ICAS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bob is one of the most versatile airshow performers in North America. He began flying airshows in his Salto sailplane, and over the years has continued to add innovative performances such as barnstormin&#8217; biplane aerobatics, helicopter sailplane tow, night aerobatics with strobes &amp; pyro and the world&#8217;s only twin jet sailplane. The tradition of innovation continues with the recent addition of the Super Salto jet sailplane, with more power, more speed and more aerobatic capability than any other sailplane on the planet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bob Carlton is a retired rocket scientist for a major national laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to thanks Bob for all informations he always authorized us to publish.
