C&#8217;est, comme ses pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseurs, un planeur monoplace \u00e0 &nbsp;r\u00e9acteur auxiliaire <a href=\"https:\/\/minijets.org\/100-150\/turbomeca-pimene\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1877\">Turbomeca Pim\u00e9n\u00e9<\/a>. Le premier exemplaire effectua son &#8220;vol de contr\u00f4le&#8221; le&nbsp;<strong>02 janvier 1952<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<p>Si la premi\u00e8re \u00e9volution en Sylphe II avait vu une transformation de la silhouette de l&#8217;appareil, avec en particulier un nouveau canopy et un abaissement de la position du r\u00e9acteur, le passage en Sylphe III c&#8217;est traduit par la suppression du patin et de sa petite roulette, par une seule et unique roulette de nez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La modification la plus importante, du point de vue des performances, concerne le &nbsp;r\u00e9acteur Turbomeca&nbsp;Pimene, qui est d&#8217;une version plus puissante que celle install\u00e9e sur les versions pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes du Sylphe ou du cyclone, puisque d\u00e9livrant plus de 100 Kgp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Description g\u00e9n\u00e9rale<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Voilure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La voilure est de type m\u00e9diane monoplan cantilever, mono-longeron \u00e0 &nbsp;rev\u00eatement travaillant, enti\u00e8rement en bois, dot\u00e9e d&#8217;un allongement de 13, disposant d&#8217;un profil NACA 23014 \u00e0 l&#8217;emplanture et&nbsp;23012 \u00e0 l&#8217;extr\u00e9mit\u00e9. Source : Philippe BEZARD<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Empennages<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;un empennage en V, dont les plans fixes sont en bois&nbsp;rev\u00eatues de contreplaqu\u00e9.&nbsp;Les parties mobiles sont en alliage l\u00e9ger&nbsp;rev\u00eatus de t\u00f4le.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Atterrisseurs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;atterrisseur est de type monotrace fixe, avec roulette avant et b\u00e9quille auxiliaire arri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L&#8217;atterrisseur principale<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est compos\u00e9 d&#8217;une roue unique, encastr\u00e9e dans le fuselage, avec une pneu de 420 * 150. Cette roue est dot\u00e9e d&#8217;un amortisseur hydraulique et d&#8217;un frein \u00e0 disque \u00e0 commande hydrom\u00e9canique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le train avant<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est de type \u00e0 balancier mono roue, avec un pneu de 220 * 60. Suite \u00e0 &nbsp;l&#8217;abandon du programme, ils seront tous rachet\u00e9s par J.HEMET de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 HEMET aviation \u00e0 &nbsp;Colomiers, puis retransform\u00e9 en planeur CM8-13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le sylphe III N\u00b01 &#8211; F-BFDH devenu F-PNKU devenu F-CRPY<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Reconditionn\u00e9 en CM8-13 le sylphe III N\u00b01 a \u00e9t\u00e9 achet\u00e9 par Charles BEZARD \u00e0 &nbsp;Rudolf NOVIKY en 1974 (qui l&#8217;avait lui m\u00eame rachet\u00e9 \u00e0 &nbsp;J.HEMET).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;appareil a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9 dans un \u00e9tat de conservation moyen sur le terrain de Mulhouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le r\u00e9acteur a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couvert puis achet\u00e9 aux \u00e9tablissements Couzinet, sur l&#8217;\u00eele de la jatte \u00e0 &nbsp;Neuilly sur Seine. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 rachet\u00e9 ensuite par Jean-Paul WEISS, qui avec l&#8217;aide de M.NOHIN menuisier aviation \u00e0 Tallard, l&#8217;a retransform\u00e9 en planeur.
