Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;une construction amateur, r\u00e9alis\u00e9e sur le base des plans du\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rutan_VariViggen\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rutan_VariViggen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Variviggen<\/a> de Burt Rutan. Il est , motoris\u00e9 avec 2 turbor\u00e9acteurs <a href=\"https:\/\/minijets.org\/100-150\/microturbo-trs-18\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"2101\">Microturbo TRS18-046<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<p>La collaboration entre Microturbo et la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Star, Service Technique A\u00e9ronautique et Routier (<strong>Star)<\/strong>&nbsp;est visible jusque dans le nom m\u00eame de l&#8217;avion : <strong>MicroStar.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Microturbo<\/strong>&nbsp;s&#8217;est charg\u00e9e de la motorisation, avec la r\u00e9alisation du b\u00e2ti, le calcul de l&#8217;impl\u00e9mentation et le centrage des 2 r\u00e9acteurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette implantation a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 une modification de la partie arri\u00e8re, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 ferm\u00e9e l\u00e0 o\u00f9 auparavant \u00e9tait pr\u00e9vu un passage pour l&#8217;h\u00e9lice. L&#8217;augmentation de surface qui s&#8217;en est suivie a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 un agrandissement du canard avant (l&#8217;envergure a \u00e9t\u00e9 augment\u00e9e de 20 cm).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les entr\u00e9es d&#8217;air sont en fibre de verre. Le capotage moteur est en t\u00f4le. La partie \u00e9lectronique est situ\u00e9e juste devant les r\u00e9acteurs, et est accessible par des portes de visites.&nbsp;Les groupes moteurs sont s\u00e9par\u00e9s du reste de l&#8217;appareil par 3 cloisons par feu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>L\u00e9o Chagnes<\/strong>&nbsp;a mis 4 ans pour construire le Microstar, soit le m\u00eame temps que <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Burt_Rutan\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Burt_Rutan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Burt Rutan<\/a> pour le prototype du Variggen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s plus de 4 h. de roulage et de sauts de puces, L\u00e9o a effectu\u00e9 le premier vol le&nbsp;<strong>20 Juillet 1979<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le fuselage<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est en bois-spruce, coffr\u00e9 de contreplaqu\u00e9 bouleau-akoum\u00e9 et maroufl\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L&#8217;aile<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Elle rejoint la technologie du VariEze, en mousse Styrofoam d\u00e9coup\u00e9e au fil chaud avec rev\u00eatement en \u00e9poxy. Il en est de m\u00eame pour les winglets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le train d&#8217;atterrissage<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Les roues sont issues d&#8217;un Cessna 150. La roue avant est conjugu\u00e9e avec le palonnier. Source : Popular Science, Mai 1982<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Burt Rutan<\/strong>&nbsp;emprunta le nom de l&#8217;avion de chasse su\u00e9dois, le Saab Viggen, car celui-ci a en partie inspir\u00e9 de son design.&nbsp;Le prototype a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9sign\u00e9&nbsp;<strong>mod\u00e8le 27<\/strong>, la version de production \u00e9tant le mod\u00e8le 32.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Burt Rutan a commenc\u00e9 la conception du Variviggen lorsqu&#8217;il \u00e9tait \u00e9tudiant \u00e0&nbsp; Cal Poly (California Polytechnic State University) au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1960. Elle l&#8217;a conduit \u00e0&nbsp; apprendre \u00e0&nbsp; voler sur l&#8217;a\u00e9rodrome de&nbsp;Toulouse Labordes. Il avait alors 30 ans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sa premi\u00e8re construction, prim\u00e9e par le minist\u00e8re de l&#8217;Air, a \u00e9t\u00e9 un&nbsp;<strong>Druine Turbulent.<\/strong>&nbsp;S&#8217;en suivront d&#8217;autres constructions (Emeraude) ou remise en \u00e9tat (Fieseler Storch).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avant de cr\u00e9er sa propre entreprise d&#8217;entretien et de r\u00e9paration, la<strong>&nbsp;STAR<\/strong>, L\u00e9o commencera comme m\u00e9canicien \u00e0&nbsp; l&#8217;a\u00e9roclub du Langedoc, toujours sur l&#8217;a\u00e9rodromme de Labordes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En&nbsp;<strong>1976<\/strong>, a la fois aid\u00e9 et encourag\u00e9 par&nbsp;Microturbo, et sur la base des plans du&nbsp;Varrivigen, il entreprend la construction du&nbsp;MicroStar.
