But when the parent company unveiled plans in 1971 to relocate Leyland Gas Turbines out of the area &#8211; from Solihull to Lancashire &#8211; Noel tendered his resignation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">A year later he set up Noel Penny Turbines in Siskin Drive, Tollbar End.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Noel Penny Turbines eventually went into receivership in 1991 and the rights to his key turbine technologies sold off to the highest bidder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Noel went on to mentor many promising engineering students as well as publishing 34 international papers and lecturing in 12 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Source : Coventry Telegraph,&nbsp;<strong>10 JUN 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Con\u00e7ue par Noel Penny, la famille des\u00a0NPT 301\u00a0a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e pour \u00e9quiper des drones r\u00e9utilisables, et des engins cibles n\u00e9cessitant une puissance de 130 \u00e0 150 Kgp.
