Seules les initiales de leur concepteur,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Adriano_Mantelli\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Adriano_Mantelli\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adriano MANTELLI<\/a><\/strong>, permettent de trouver une filiation entre ces deux machines. A l&#8217;origine, l&#8217;AM-12 \u00e9tait un planeur. Ce moteur \u00e9tait celui d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00a0utilis\u00e9 sur la version &#8220;jet&#8221; du <a href=\"https:\/\/minijets.org\/150-300\/turbomeca-palas\/cvv6-canguro-palas\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"3337\">cvv6 Canguro<\/a> (il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9 sur le prototype de l&#8217;avion \u00e0 \u00a0r\u00e9action Caproni F-5), donc la version Palas I donnant 150 kgp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C&#8217;est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce r\u00e9acteur qu&#8217;<strong>Adrianno MANTELLI<\/strong>&nbsp;a pu, le<strong>&nbsp;17 f\u00e9vrier 1962<\/strong>, battre le record du monde d&#8217;altitude pour avion \u00e0 &nbsp;r\u00e9action de moins de 500 Kg, &nbsp;avec&nbsp;<strong>6700 m<\/strong>, et gagner par la m\u00eame occasion le prix Bl\u00e9riot 1962.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus tard l&#8217;avion a \u00e9t\u00e9 remotoris\u00e9 avec un moteur \u00e0 &nbsp;piston Walter Praga-D 75.
