Il \u00e9tait propuls\u00e9 par une Turbine GE T58 convertie en turbor\u00e9acteur. Le premier vol de l&#8217;avion a eu lieu en 2006.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Berkut est un descendant du Rutan Long-EZ, dont les principales diff\u00e9rences sont : un train d&#8217;atterrissage principal r\u00e9tractable, une double verri\u00e8re, un fuselage, des virures et un longeron moul\u00e9s. Comme le Long EZ, le Berkut emporte 2 personnes assises en tandem. L&#8217;occupant du si\u00e8ge avant a acc\u00e8s \u00e0 tous les instruments et commandes. Ils peuvent atteindre des vitesses allant jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 400 km\/h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avec un r\u00e9acteur GE T58, le Berkut Jet peut facilement d\u00e9passer les 500 km\/h.
