Swift Engineering avait \u00e9t\u00e9&nbsp;charg\u00e9e de concevoir et de construire un avion d&#8217;affaires monomoteur en&nbsp;200 jours, jusqu&#8217;au&nbsp;premier vol. Cela comprenait la conception g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, le dimensionnement, l&#8217;architecture du v\u00e9hicule, l&#8217;analyse (CFD, FEA), la conception d\u00e9taill\u00e9e et les essais en soufflerie. Toute la conception, y compris les int\u00e9rieurs, a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e dans le studio de conception, \u00e0 la pointe de la technologie, de Swift \u00e0 San Clemente, en Californie. Le projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 annul\u00e9 suite \u00e0 la faillite d&#8217;Eclipse Aviation le 25 novembre 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;unique exemplaire de l&#8217;Eclipse Concept Jet appartient aujourd&#8217;hui&nbsp;\u00e0 Eclipse Aerospace, qui produit l&#8217;Eclipse 550, une version am\u00e9lior\u00e9e de l&#8217;Eclipse 500.
