LVB Project

The LVB Project was a Luc Van Bavel design project started in 2005, as a Personal jet design studies in support of the development of the new family DGEN turbofan engines.

DGEN engines should be installed in nacelles, with the air inlet located approximately in line with the trailing edge of the wing. Such a configuration lowers the risks associated to ingestion.

With 2 DGEN-380 (non_pressurized version) it should be capable of covering distances around 700 Nm at comfortable flight altitudes and at reasonably cruise speeds (< 240 kts).
